Yes, we have done it as well. We did it on July 3, 1988 when
the crack shots on the ultramodern USS Vincennes shot down an unarmed
commercial aircraft sending 290 people to their doom. Yesterday’s horrendous tragedy
is, indeed, an unspeakable outrage. But, please spare us all the
holier-than-thou stuff.
